“Predict & Win” Global Football Championship 2026 — Official Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Official Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern entry to and participation in the “Predict & Win” Global Football Championship 2026 Competition (the “Competition”). The Competition is operated by Expert Group Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 99 610 041 579), trading as Expert Education & Visa Services, together with all of its associated companies (collectively, “Expert Education”, “we”, “us” or “our”). For details of our associated companies and how we handle your information, please see our Privacy Policy at https://experteducation.com/australia/privacy-policy/. The prediction platform is owned and operated by Expert Education under Expert Group Holdings Pty Ltd.
By registering for or participating in the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Competition Privacy Notice (clause 10). If you do not agree, you must not enter.
Skill-based, free-to-enter competition. The Competition is a free-to-enter game of skill. Winners are determined by the accuracy of their match predictions and the points accrued on that basis, not by chance. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or to win, and no payment will improve a participant’s chance of winning. Nothing in the Competition constitutes betting, wagering, a lottery or a game of chance.
2. Definitions
- “Competition Period” means the period commencing at the kick-off of the first match of the Global Football Championship 2026 and ending at the conclusion of the final match, as published on the Platform.
- “Eligible Country” means a country in which the Competition is lawfully offered and which has not been excluded under clause 3.4.
- “Leaderboard” means the official points ranking generated by the Platform.
- “Platform” means the official competition portal at predictandwin.experteducation.com and any associated software or application.
- “Participant”, “you” or “your” means a natural person who registers for and participates in the Competition.
- “Prize” means any prize described in clause 5.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age. Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration. We may require proof of age and identity at any time.
3.2 Geographic eligibility. The Competition is open only to residents of the following countries where an Expert Education physical office operates and allows for onboarding system verification, subject to clause 3.4 and to all applicable local laws:
Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India (strictly excluding residents of the states of Assam, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tamil Nadu), Indonesia, Kenya, South Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
3.3 Excluded persons. Employees, officers, contractors and agents of Expert Education, and their immediate family members, may participate in engagement activities but are not eligible to win cash Prizes, unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for an internal-only prize pool. This is to preserve the integrity of the public Competition.
3.4 Jurisdictional carve-out. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, exclude, suspend or modify the Competition in any country where it cannot be offered lawfully, where a permit or registration is required and has not been obtained, or where offering it would breach any applicable law or third-party platform policy. Entries from an excluded country are void. It is your responsibility to ensure that your participation is lawful in your country of residence.
3.5 One account per person. Each Participant may hold only one account. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent or bot-generated entries are prohibited and will be disqualified.
3.6 Strict Regional Exclusions. This Competition is strictly void and unavailable to residents of Canada and the Indian states of Assam, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tamil Nadu. Any registration, account creation, or prediction submission originating from a resident of these excluded jurisdictions will be deemed null and void from the outset, and any potential Prize associated with such an account will be automatically and unconditionally forfeited.
3.7 Absolute Exclusion Shield. Expert Education and its regional international branches bear zero liability for enforcement actions, regulatory interventions, penalties, or compliance closures resulting from a Participant’s failure to determine or adhere to the laws of their local state or country of residence.
4. How to Enter and Make Predictions
4.1 Registration. To enter, you must register on the Platform and provide accurate registration details, including your country of residence.
4.2 Predictions. During each match day of the Competition Period, you may submit predictions (such as match scores, outcomes, and goal differences) for the available matches. Predictions may be edited or modified up until 45 minutes before the scheduled kick-off time of the relevant match, as recorded by the Platform’s server clock, after which they will lock automatically. No entries or modifications will be accepted after this lock occurs.
4.3 Tournament-stage predictions. Where tournament-stage predictions are offered, they open from the date of registration and may be edited until the end of the group-stage matches, after which they lock.
4.4 Scoring. Points are awarded by the Platform according to the accuracy of predictions. Results are ordinarily processed on the next working day following the relevant matches, after which Leaderboard standings are updated.
4.5 Free entry. Entry is free. We will never ask you to pay, deposit or stake money to enter, to make predictions, or to claim a Prize.
5. Prizes — Global Championship
The Competition is run as a Global Championship. All Prizes are in Australian Dollars (AUD), are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash alternatives except as required by law. The winners will be solely responsible for any local income tax or withholding tax declarations. Prizes are awarded to the highest-ranking eligible Participants on the relevant Leaderboard who satisfy these Terms.
Prizes may differ between groups, stages and regions. The prize amounts and tiers set out below are indicative of the Global Championship structure. The actual prizes, tiers, number of winners and amounts applicable to each group, stage or region may differ, and the prizes that apply to you will be those published on the Platform for your group, stage or region. Where there is any inconsistency, the prize details published on the Platform prevail. The tiers below are as follows:
5.1 Indicative tiers — Group Stages through Round of 32
| Placing | Title | Prize (AUD) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | The Goal Genius | $300 |
| 2nd | The Score Master | $200 |
| 3rd | The Prediction Pro | $100 |
Promotional increase. We may, at our discretion, increase these prize tiers to $500 (1st), $300 (2nd) and $200 (3rd) as a promotional enhancement announced on the Platform. Any such increase applies prospectively from the date we announce it and does not create an entitlement before then.
5.2 Championship pool — from the Round of 16
From the Round of 16, the Global Championship carries a total prize pool of up to AUD 10,000. The allocation of the pool across placings, groups, stages or regions, the qualifying criteria and the number of winners will be published on the Platform before this stage opens. The figure of AUD 10,000 is a maximum ceiling for the total pool, not a guaranteed amount payable to any individual Participant.
5.3 Ties. In the event of two or more Participants finishing on equal points for a Prize position, the result will be based on the system’s analytics which will be displayed on the platform.
5.4 Sponsors and prize providers. The Competition may be supported by one or more third-party sponsors or prize providers. Where this is the case, the relevant sponsors and any sponsor-specific prizes, conditions or eligibility requirements will be identified on the Platform. Sponsors are not operators of the Competition and are not responsible for its conduct unless expressly stated. Any sponsor-provided Prize is subject to these Terms and to any additional terms the sponsor reasonably specifies and that we publish on the Platform; in the event of inconsistency, these Terms prevail unless the published sponsor terms state otherwise. We may add, remove or change sponsors at our discretion without affecting Prizes already validly awarded.
5.5 Statutory Tax Withholdings at Source. Where local laws in an Eligible Country require Expert Education or its regional offices to withhold, deduct, or declare income tax or statutory levies at the source before distributing a Prize (including but not limited to Indian Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) mandates), the Prize amount will be automatically reduced by the required statutory withholding percentage. Participants acknowledge and agree that receiving the net post-tax amount under these circumstances constitutes full, valid, and complete payment of the Prize.
6. Winner Selection and Verification
6.1 Identification. Potential winners are identified from their final ranking on the official Leaderboard at the close of the relevant stage.
6.2 Verification. We will contact potential winners using their registration details to verify their identity, age, country of residence and eligibility. We may require government-issued identification. Potential winners must respond within the time specified in our notice (and in any event within 14 days).
6.3 Social media (optional). We encourage participants to follow Expert Education’s official accounts on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for competition updates and announcements, but following any of these accounts is entirely optional and is not a condition of entry, eligibility or winning a Prize. A Participant will not be disqualified, and no Prize will be withheld, on the basis of whether or not they follow any social media account. (See clause 9.4 regarding platform independence.)
6.4 Disqualification and rollover. If a potential winner fails verification, is found ineligible, cannot be contacted within the required time, or declines the Prize, we may award the Prize to the next highest-ranking eligible Participant on the Leaderboard, repeating this process as necessary.
6.5 Prize collection. To claim and collect a Prize, winners will be required to contact or physically visit their designated Expert Education country office to verify their identity, confirm their onboarding registration details, and complete any documentation reasonably required for payment processing.
All prizes are calculated and awarded based on the Australian Dollar (AUD) values stated in these Terms. Where a Prize is paid out in a local currency at a branch office, the conversion will be calculated using the official foreign exchange spot rate selected by Expert Education on the exact day of processing. Expert Education is not liable for any discrepancies or variances in the final local currency amount received due to daily market exchange rate fluctuations, and any local cash handling or bank administrative fees at the point of collection will be absorbed by us.
7. Integrity, Conduct and Disqualification
We reserve the right to verify the validity of any entry and the identity of any Participant at any stage. We may disqualify and remove any Participant, without prior notice, where we reasonably suspect tampering with entries, manipulation of the Leaderboard, multiple accounts, fraud, use of bots or automation, or any breach of these Terms.
8. Privacy and Use of Information
8.1 We collect and handle personal information you provide for the purpose of operating the Competition, verifying eligibility, awarding Prizes and (where you have agreed) marketing. Our handling of personal information is governed by the Competition Privacy Notice referred to in clause 10 and, for Australian operations, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
8.2 Winner publicity. By entering, you consent to us publishing your first name, country and, where you provide it, a photograph, for the purpose of announcing winners, provided that you may withdraw consent to use of your photograph by contacting us before publication. We will not require publication of your full personal details as a condition of receiving a Prize beyond what is reasonably necessary to verify and announce winners.
8.3 Cross-border. Because the Competition runs across multiple countries, your information may be disclosed to and stored by Expert Education entities and service providers located overseas. We take reasonable steps to protect it but cannot guarantee the practices of independent third parties.
9. General Conditions
9.1 Amendment and cancellation. We reserve the right to amend, suspend, cancel or terminate the Competition, in whole or in part, at our sole and absolute discretion where unforeseen technical, legal, regulatory or administrative issues compromise its integrity or fairness, or where required by law. Where we do so, we may, acting reasonably and subject to applicable law, choose not to award some or all Prizes. We will not exercise these rights to avoid paying a Prize that has been validly won other than as permitted by law.
9.2 Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expert Education and its affiliates (including their employees, consultants and agents) are not liable for any delay, interruption, loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising from participation in the Competition or from the operation of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by law.
9.3 Decisions. Decisions of Expert Education in connection with the Competition are final. We will deal with genuine complaints in good faith (see clause 11), but no correspondence will be entered into for the purpose of contesting a properly made eligibility or scoring decision.
9.4 Platform independence. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Meta Platforms, ByteDance. Any references to those names are for identification only. You release each of those platforms from any liability connected with the Competition.
9.5 Eligibility and Compliance with Local Laws. Participation in the Competition is void where prohibited by law. Each participant is solely responsible for determining whether participation in the Competition is lawful in their country, state, province, territory, or other jurisdiction of residence and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
By entering the free competition, the participant represents and warrants that their participation is lawful under the laws applicable to them. The Organiser makes no representation or warranty regarding the legality of participation in any jurisdiction outside those expressly identified in these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, penalty, fine, or other consequence arising from a participant’s failure to determine or comply with the laws of their jurisdiction. By participating, the participant agrees not to bring any claim against the Organiser arising solely from the fact that participation in the Competition is restricted, prohibited, or otherwise regulated in the participant’s jurisdiction of residence.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.
9.6 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, it is severed for that jurisdiction only and the remaining provisions continue in force.
10. Competition Privacy Notice
A Competition-specific Privacy Notice describing what personal information we collect for the Competition, how we use and disclose it, the overseas recipients, and how you may access, correct or complain about your information, is available on the Platform and forms part of these Terms. Our general Privacy Policy, which lists our associated companies and describes our broader information-handling practices, is available at https://experteducation.com/australia/privacy-policy/ and continues to apply to our visa, education and related services.
